FAQs

Are your wedding/event rentals available for dry hire?

All wedding/event rentals include Epilogue products and services exclusively.

Who is responsible to communicate with the venue regarding the order of the day, tables/chairs set-up in readiness for dressing?

We are not a wedding coordinator business. It is your responsibility to organise these. On the day of the event, the whole venue is expected to be already set up to its requirements i.e. chairs and tables at their designated places, staging etc.

However, we understand some venues provide table and chair dressing. If this arrangement is organised with them beforehand i.e, use of their own linens, chair covers etc., we will be more than happy to cater for other services, such as providing a backdrop, centrepieces, and designing installations etc.

Are you open to working with other vendors?

We love a community of vendors who are officially registered businesses. We can collaborate.  But if we feel that we are not the right fit for your style, we will be happy to refer you to another florist.

Also please note, we have a "No DIY, No Balloons Policy". (Please see below)

Can I incorporate my DIY designs and balloons to your arrangements and styling?

We have a "No DIY designs, No Balloons Policy".

Only personal items of sentimental value and importance to the celebrants will be allowed.

Planning a wedding or event with a focus on cohesive venue styling and professional floral design can create a stunning and memorable experience. Here are some key points to consider:

1. Quality Assurance: By hiring a professional, you ensure a higher quality and more polished look, avoiding the potential pitfalls of DIY.

2. Time Management: This allows you to focus on other aspects of your wedding and reduces the stress of having to manage multiple DIY projects.

3. Expertise: Professionals bring their experience and expertise to the table, ensuring that all designs are executed flawlessly.

4. Alternative Decor: Instead of balloons, focus on elegant alternatives like hanging floral arrangements, drapery, fairy lights, or candles to enhance the ambiance.

By focusing on these key aspects and working with professional, registered vendors, you can achieve a beautifully styled wedding with a cohesive look that leaves a lasting impression on your guests.

Are you selling everyday flowers or flowers for all occasions?

For now, we are focusing on specialised or niche floral offerings to carve out a unique market position. In the future, we will gradually introduce occasion-specific arrangements as the company grows.

How do you price your arrangements?

Pricing depends on the scale and complexity of the arrangements as well as flower choices. The use of fresh flowers is dependent on the season and the global market. High quality silk flowers and/or real touch flowers can be expensive.

We only use high quality fresh cut flowers and premium silk and/or real touch flowers. "My pricing is competitive based on my talent, skill level and floristry education. I am using industry pricing standards. There are no hidden costs unless you add more products and services." - Sally

Can I save money using silk florals instead of fresh flowers?

The common assumption about using silk florals is that they are relatively cheaper than fresh flowers. However, the reality is that excellent quality silk flowers can be quite expensive. They can usually cost more per stem than fresh flowers. As a result, if you are looking at having an elaborate floral arch, mantelpiece/ceiling arrangement or centrepiece, silk flowers will add up quickly and can be more costly.

Can you show me sample designs/arrangements?

To be transparent towards my clients and ensure high quality service, I avoid creating design mock ups for a few reasons.

Firstly, as these mock ups are made months in advance of your wedding/event date, the flowers and resources used will not be a proper reflection of the flowers on the wedding day. The quality may differ, selected flowers may not be in season yet and ideas can change. Furthermore, to create a fabulous mock up, we would need a tablescape, appropriate lighting etc. Lastly, I will consequently have to charge for mock ups due to labour and the need to buy the amount of stems for arrangements.

Do you offer packages?

As every occasion is unique and catered to the personality of the celebrant, standardised packages are not offered. Over time, rental items and selections will grow along with demand.

Are you selling products online?

Currently, we are concentrating on launching the business but are planning to sell products and bouquets online in the future.

What is your payment method?

Epilogue accepts payment by Bank transfer (BACS) only. Submitting your order is subject to acceptance of goods and services. A confirmation email will be sent with the details of your brief. A signature is required to acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions.

Why do florists have a minimum spend?

By implementing minimum spend, florists can better manage their operational costs with customer satisfaction, ensuring that they can continue to provide beautiful floral arrangements sustainably.

Please note:

Epilogue's prices are available upon request. Venue set-up and take down incur fees.
